Lo-Fi

Lets face it, the photo world is one of the snobiest worlds you can find.  How often do you hear, oh he is just a point and shooter? or He shoots digital. Todays post is a response to this, since I have produced for you guys three pieces of art using the cheapest cameras you can find : a 40$ fisheye, a holga and a two megapixel HP digital camera that I found in the garbage. The last camera has a broken focus so everything that is further than one inche is out of focus.

Architecture

Fall trailer

These image were  shot for my Silence and solitude serie. Some of may of seen piece of it on my facebook group.  I first started shooting this serie earlier this year when I spent a certain amount of time alone to meditate.  

Thw goal of the serie was to focus spaces and odities while being sure that no one was in the images. Paralel to the production of this serie if have also been working on a serie called Nom Identité, this serie features self portraits made in these same locations, the image from the first post is from this serie.

A Day with Annie-Claude

Meet Annie-Claude, she is a good friend of mine. 

Just before she left to Milan, we decided to go out and shoot on a beautifull afternoon. I shot the pictures in less than an hour using only the available light. Since I used 160 Vc film the colors are fabulous ( do not be fooled by the poor quality of the scans).

Two Man Army

One the of projects that has been taking a large part of my time lately, is not linked to photography but djing. I have been djing in huge parties in Montreal, for the night school co. The events shown above   happened at club Academy on boulevard Saint-Laurent. Here are some of the shots from these evenings. I like the very graphic feeling to them.

Opening of the blog
